Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two of the most popular and celebrated personalities in Indian cricket. The two of them have played an instrumental role in the last decade or so to take Indian cricket forward together. Both have always been in awe of each other’s game and it is simply a visual delight to watch them bat together.

Both of them have been part of some historic victories for team India and they are legends in their own right. However, since the last couple of months, rumors have been rife that all is not apparently well within the Indian cricket team. It all started first with speculations and media reports of Rohit Sharma apparently replacing Virat Kohli as captain of the limited-overs format in Indian cricket. While nothing was confirmed from Rohit or BCCI on this, rumors fuelled all the way more when Virat Kohli took to social media to announce that he is stepping down as captain of the T20 format to reduce ‘workload’.

Not just that, there were media reports that hinted that Virat Kohli apparently wanted Rohit to be removed as vice-captain as he wanted someone younger like a KL Rahul to lead the side. Again, nothing was confirmed and hence speculations fuelled all the way more resulting in panic among fans.

And now, some netizens on social media have spotted that Rohit Sharma is not following Virat Kohli on Instagram. Although it must be noted that there’s no confirmation as to whether Rohit ever followed Virat on Instagram earlier, certain fans speculate that Rohit might have possibly unfollowed Virat, especially because Virat continues to follow Rohit on Instagram from his end. Well, as we already said, we don’t know whether Rohit Sharma actually unfollowed Kohli on Instagram recently or whether the reality is that he never followed him on Instagram in the first place. There’s no confirmation on the same as such. All we can hope and pray is both of them continue to work as a team like how they have done always and continue to bring glory to the country.
