The fourth test match between India and Australia saw both India and Australia battling it out till the very end and without any iota of doubt, it was the best match of the test series.
After bowling out Australia for 294 in the second innings, India chased their total of 328 with some brilliant heroics from Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Rishabh Pant’s end.
Shubman Gill 91 (146), Cheteshwar Pujara 56 (211), and Rishabh Pant 89* (138) were the top three scorers of the game.
With this win, India have sealed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a final series score of 2-1 and have registered a historic win at Brisbane (Gabba) which is often rated as Australia’s ‘fortress’.
