The second test match between India and England saw both India and England competing hard from the very first day. India have made their intent very clear when it comes to expressing that they want to bounce back after the first test defeat.

Batting first, India scored a massive score of 329 in the first innings and built a healthy lead by dismissing England for just 134 runs in their first innings.

During India’s second innings, the hosts managed to put a competitive score of 286, all thanks to Virat Kohli’s 62 and a special century knock of 106 runs by R. Ashwin at his home ground.

While chasing a target of 482, England were bundled out cheaply once again for 164 runs on day 4 thereby helping India make a significant comeback in the Test series with a win.

The series is now leveled at 1-1.
