Some happy news worth being proud of for all Indians.

Indian-American prodigy Abhimanyu Mishra became the youngest ever chess Grandmaster on Wednesday after he scored his third GM norm in Budapest, Hungary.

The 12-year-old boy from New Jersey in the United States became a GM from International Master, having crossed the required 2500 Elo rating barrier with precision.

Not just that, reports in The Indian Express also tell us more about the young champion. We hear that he joined the Garry Kasparov Young Stars Programme at just the age of 8 and is a big admirer of Vishwanathan Anand.

Absolutely amazing ain’t it? We wish Abhimanyu a lovely career going forward. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
