Indian Cricketer Mohammed Shami and his brother Mohammed Kaif have been issued notices regarding SIR in Kolkata. SIR is Special Intensive Revision, which has been conducted in certain states across the nation.

Mohammed Shami was born in Uttar Pradesh. Later, he moved to West Bengal, and many years have already passed. He moved to Bengal due to his cricket commitments, according to Sportstar. Since then, he has been registered to vote in the Jadavpur constituency. However, the cricketer has not yet released any statement regarding this.

According to the same Sportstar report, his hearing was scheduled for Monday, as he is currently in Rajkot, where Bengal is playing Vijay Hazare Trophy matches. According to EC, a new date for him shall be slated soon.

That being said, he could not regain his place in the Indian team after featuring in the Champions Trophy. After that, he also admitted that he went through a difficult phase after he was included in the test series against West Indies in October and the two-Test series against South Africa.
