As per the latest reports, doctors decided to shift Rishabh Pant to Mumbai. This has been decided as one of his knee injuries requires immediate attention or may go severe. BCCI, in a statement, said, “Rishabh will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation.” Also, “The Board will make every effort to aid and expedite the recovery process of Rishabh and will provide him with all the support he needs during this period.”

Rishabh Pant will be taken care of by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala. He has worked with Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and other athletes. In comparison, BCCI appreciated Uttarakhand’s hospitals for Rishabh Pant’s treatment. But they prefer to have his injuries cured by the board’s medical team. In addition, the expense of Rishabh Pant’s treatment will be taken by his medical insurance. At the same time, the board pays the amount for the air ambulance.

Rishabh Pant didn’t have MRI scans for his injuries. Still, the BCCI sent doctors for Pant to Max hospital of Dehradun. And as per the assessment, one of his knees needs immediate treatment.

Rishabh Pant met a massive accident while on his way to meet his mother and crashed his car on the divider. Somehow the cricketer managed to save himself with the help of local people. Later, he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Pant was moved from Saksham Hospital to Dehradun, where he underwent plastic surgery to cure laceration wounds, facial injuries, etc. MRI for the brain and spine was done, but the knees and foot remained due to excess pain.

It is difficult to say the estimated time and how much time he will take to recover. As of now, he hasn’t started walking. Rishabh Pant is a famous player in the Indian team. Also, he is captain of the IPL team Delhi Capitals.
