As per the latest reports in ESPN, Karim Benzema has been handed a one-year suspended prison sentence and a €75,000 fine for his alleged involvement in an attempted blackmail of former teammate Mathieu Valbuena over a s*x tape. Reports suggest that Benzema’s lawyer have told journalists on Wednesday that the player will appeal the verdict.
