A big update coming in.
As per the latest reports in Hindustan Times, Shoaib Akhtar has received a $100 million defamation notice from PTV. The case was reportedly filed after PTV incurred a massive loss because of Akhtar appearing on an Indian TV channel in Dubai ahead of the India Vs Pakistan ICC T20 World Cup game. Reacting to this, Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter and wrote –
Utterly Disappointed. After miserably failing to safeguard my respect & repute while i was working for PTV, they have now sent me a Recovery Notice. I am a fighter & will not give up & fight this legal battle. My lawyer @SalmanKNiazi1 will take this forward according to law.
