An interesting update coming in for Neeraj Chopra and Lovlina Borghoin.
As per the reports in News18, the ongoing bids for Neeraj Chopra’s Javelin and Lovlina Borgohain’s boxing gloves have fetched a big amount on Day 1 at the e-auction. Both of them had gifted the same to PM Narendra Modi which was opened for auction on his birthday. The amounts are reportedly set to go to the ‘Namami Gange’ project.
While Neeraj’s javelin fetched more than 5 crores on Day 1, Lovlina’s boxing gloves began with 1 crore.
