India captain Rohit Sharma faced an embarrassing moment at the toss of the second ODI against New Zealand as he forgot what to do after winning the toss. As per reports in the media, Rohit flipped the coin and it went in his favour in Raipur but what followed after that was pure comedy as the India captain forgot what he wanted to do after that.
The opener took a good minute to make up his mind and then decided to bowl first. Speaking after the toss, as quoted by Cricbuzz, he said, “I forgot what we wanted to do, had plenty of discussions with the team about the toss decision, just wanted to challenge ourselves under difficult conditions, but we’ll bowl first. Was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us.”
