Former wrestler and BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader Babita Phogat has embarked on a new journey, welcoming another baby. The sportsperson shared the good news of the baby girl’s birth on her social media yesterday, August 12, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Shivratri. The newborn is Babita and her husband Vivek Suhag’s second child, and the sportsperson shared a cute picture from the hospital bed.
The photo features Babita with the newborn on the hospital bed, where the wrestler posed with the little princess. Sharing the good news, the sportswoman called her baby girl an embodiment of goddess Parvati in the caption and said that the happiness is beyond words.
The caption reads, “Mahadev ki kripa dekhiye aaj Shivratri ke is pavitra din par mere jeevan mein ek nanhi pari Parvati swaroop beti ka aagaman hua hai. Meri beti ke roop mein mili yah khushi mere aur mere parivar ke liye anmol aashirvad hai. Yah ahsaas aur khushiyan shabd se pare hai. Aap sabhi ka aashirvaad chahiye.”

Babita Phogat and Vivek Suhag got married in 2019, and the two welcomed their first child, a son, in January 2021, almost two years later. After four years, the two welcomed their second child, a baby girl, in 2026.
