On the 21st of August, 2005, Vedaant Madhavan was born. Vedaant Madhavan, unlike other famous youngsters, prefers to choose his own path. And the adolescent has already discovered his passion for the sea.

Vedaant Madhavan, son of popular actor R Madhavan, has won a gold medal in swimming for India in the Danish Open in Copenhagen. Vedaant, who is 16 years old, earned a silver medal for India in the same tournament a few days earlier. Madhavan used social media to announce the good news. “And thus the winning run continues… Vedaant Madhavan wins gold in the Denmark Open,” he stated, thanking everyone who had assisted Vedaant in achieving his goal.

As a student at the Universal American School in Dubai, he apparently acquired a passion for swimming. Vedaant Madhavan went on to Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai to master the sport.

In 2017, he was a participant in the Glenmark Aquatic Foundation program.

The 16-year-old won gold in the men’s 800m freestyle, improving his personal best time by 11:48 to 8:17.28, beating out local swimmer Alexander L Bjorn by 0.10 to claim the top spot on the podium. Madhavan shared a video of his kid from the event on Instagram. “… For @vedaantmadhavan, it’s a Gold in the 800m today. I’m exhausted and humbled. Coach @bacpradeep sir @ swimmingfederation @ansadxb and the entire team, thank you” wrote the actor.

Vedaant has previously won medals in swimming competitions. At the 47th Junior National Aquatic Championships in Bengaluru last year, the 16-year-old swimmer earned four silver medals and three bronze medals. Vedaant had previously won bronze in the Latvian Open Swimming Championships in March of last year.
