Pankaj Arjan Advani is a famous Indian Billiards and snooker player, a 23 times world champion in billiards. The legend is a 15 times winner of the IBSF World Snooker Championship, he a 1-time winner of the World Team Billiard Championship. The legend is also considered the “Prince of India” for his amazing achievements. Pankaj Advani is the only Indian to win the Asian And World championship in all the formats of snooker and Billiards. He has the greatest number of IBSF world championships in both games of snooker and billiards.

Advani took retirement from Pro Snooker in 2014 and wanted to focus on billiards. With time he made a snooker history as the first Indian player to hit the Quarter Finals at a world space. At the Welsh Open he beat three previous World Champions – Peter Ebdon, Shaun Murphy and Graeme Dott – to arrive at the last eight at the Newport Centre. Judd Trump finished his run by a 5-2 scoreline. Due to his amazing achievements the player has won several accolades starting from his Arjuna Award in the year 2004, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in the year 2006 and Padma Shri in the year 2009. He also won Padma Bhushan in the year 2018.
