Mithali Raj is an Indian female cricketer and she is the Captain of the Indian Women’s cricket team. Mithali began playing cricket at the age of just 10. But Mithali was passionate about dancing still she chose cricket over dance and we are happy about her decision.

Mithali made her way to both the Test series as well as the ODI for the women’s cricket team. She was also rumored to be in the World Cup in 1997 at the age of 14 due to her incredible talent. However, she did not make it.

Nevertheless, Mithali Raj made her debut in ODI two years later in 1999 in Ireland, the most impactful thing about her debut was she scored an unbeatable 114 runs. Later to this, there was no looking back in her career.

On 17 August that season, Mithali broke the world record of scoring the highest individual score on a Women’s test. Mithali marked her talent by breaking the world record of highest individual test score of 209 by Karen Rolton, she scored a massive 214 against England.

In 2005, Mithali made the Indian cricket team to the world cup finals. But unfortunately, they lost the finals against Australia.

She is the only one having the highest individual score by an Indian Women Cricketer in a world cup match.

Also, Mithali Raj was ranked one in the Women’s World Cup 2013.

She stood the first player to score 6000 runs in women’s ODI in 2017

And among many records, one is that she played the most number of WODIs (109) for a team.
