Mithali Raj, the skipper of the Indian women public cricket crew in Tests and ODIs, trusts her biopic Shabaash Mithu to motivate young ladies to join the game. The personal show will be coordinated by Rahul Dholakia, most popular for making films like Raees, Lamhaa, and Parzania.

“I’m happy that there is a biopic on my story because a lot will be shown about the struggles of a woman cricketer. When we started way back in the ’90s, the journey of a woman cricketer in our country was difficult,” Mithali told PTI uninvolved in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020. The Sportster said there are a ton of young ladies who wish to play cricket yet feel there is no extension for them to develop and the Taapsee Pannu-fronted film will bust that fantasy.

The film, created by Viacom18 Studios, stars Taapsee leading the pack, and the cricketer said she is anticipating seeing the entertainer slip into her point of view.

The fundamental look of the film was revealed last month and has been generally welcomed by the crowd. “Shabash Mithu” will hit the performance centers on February 5 one year from now.

At the LFW Summer/Resort 2020, Mithali strolled for designer Payal Singhal on Saturday. For the show, the designer teamed up with Coral Bone and Beauty.

The cricketer, who made her introduction at the design function, said as a competitor she barely gets a chance to spruce up and strolling the slope was a great encounter.
