Former Batsman of India Gautam Gambhir accepts that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni isn’t a pioneer if he bats at No.7. Gambhir believes that the former India captain should bat higher up the order to help his side. Dhoni came out to bat at no.7 in CSK’s first match against Delhi Capitals, and he was out for a duck. Talking on something similar, Gambhir said that MSD is not, at this point, the sort of player who can come in and send the ball to the boundary toward the beginning of his innings.

Dhoni has started with a duck from the first match against Delhi Capitals. It was a disappointing match for Dhoni and the team. He being in at 7 makes all the commotion. Chennai could score runs losing wickets at the beginning.

The statements of the former left-handed batsman are already growing up to the controversies. Dhoni is having the worst nightmare coming true. The three-time champs didn’t begin the right note this year. Regardless of excellent innings from Suresh Raina and Sam Curran and a near 190-run score, CSK lost the match to last season’s second-place DC. Dhoni should reconsider his line-up of batting and should come up at the 5th position.
