IPL 2021 has started with unique twists and turns in the events. Starting from RCB and MI’s first match where the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians by 2 wickets. RCB’s captain won the toss and decided to bowl after checking out the pitch condition. It was a sage decision to bowl. Mumbai Indians starting with Rohit Sharma and Chris Lynn, Chris Lynn scored a promising 49 runs, following Surya Kumar’s 31 runs and Ishan’s 28 runs. RCB was given 160 runs to chase. Virat Kohli scored 33 runs. After that, Glenn Maxwell came out with big hits. AB de Villiers, as expected, achieved an excellent 48 runs winning the match for RCB.

The second was of the youngest captain and the oldest captain, Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. After winning the toss, DC decided to bowl first. Suresh Raina batting off an impressive 54 runs from 36 balls, then the all-rounder Sam Curran finished the inning with his 34 runs. Delhi Capitals needed two players to finish the match, starting with a perfect partnership required to score 188 runs. Prithvi and Shikhar gave their best for the team, Prithvi scored 72 runs off 38 balls, and Shikhar Dhawan with 85 runs off 54 balls.

With the first two matches, the player of the match for RCB was awarded to Harshal Patel, who took 5 wickets, and Delhi Capital’s Shikhar Dhawan.
