Gautam Gambhir the former Indian cricketer has represented India in all formats of the game. A very proficient left-handed batsman, he has opened the innings for India most of the time.
He debuted in the year 2003 and made his test debut against Australia in the year 2004. For the IPL, he played for Kolkata Knight Riders and even captained the side from 2011 to 2017. Earlier to that, he played for Delhi Daredevils.
Gambhir was born in Delhi to a person in textile business, Deepak Gambhir and Seema Gambhir. Gambhir has a sister Ekta who is younger to him. Gambhir was brought up by his grandparents from his childhood.
