Whenever we talk about the cricketing greats of India, the first name that crops up without any iota of discussion is Sachin Tendulkar. The man literally has all records registered in his came when it comes to the art of batting and he’s the most successful leading run-scorer in world cricket at present. Sachin started training under the able guidance of coach Ramakant Achrekar and soon, he started sending shockwaves with his batting in the domestic circuit.
Tendulkar got his maiden call-up for India at the age of just 16 and at that tender age, he was facing the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis with ease at Pakistan’s home soil, and from there onwards, it was no looking back for him. Sachin’s biggest dream was to lift the World Cup and finally, he got to achieve the same in 2011 when India won the World Cup after 28 long years.
Throughout his entire career, he has been disciplined and has inspired innumerable youngsters like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and others to follow in his footsteps.
