Sachin Tendulkar, a former cricketer for India, shared a picture of his lovely dog, “Paw’tner” Spike, on Tuesday. As soon as Spike made his social media debut, the internet erupted with excitement from admirers of the legendary Indian batsman who couldn’t get enough of the cute couple. Tendulkar tweeted a picture of himself with his dog and stated, “Today, Spike, my newest “Paw’tner,” makes his social media debut! Say Hi!” Within an hour of being submitted, the message received more than 5,000 likes on the microblogging service.

Such images demonstrating Sachin Tendulkar’s affection for animals, particularly dogs, are frequently shared on Instagram. One example is this video where he is seen feeding some stray animals. You could find yourself saying “aww” after watching the clip.

He included the hashtag #dogsofinstagram and asked, “Is this what you call having a paw-rty?” Another hashtag concerning an internet trend that grew insanely popular last year was also added to him. It’s Pawri Ho Rahi Hai.
