The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has issued advice to prohibit a total of 54 Chinese-made applications that are purportedly gathering sensitive information on Indian users. The restricted apps are diverse in nature, with some being utility apps like Dual Space and others dealing with smartphone multimedia consumption.
