The Malayalam film industry has grieved the death of Kannan Pattambi, a talented actor who made his presence felt in the cinema sphere and, over the span of three decades, made a very significant contribution to the field. He was 62 at the time of his death and was in the process of treating a kidney-related disease when he died at a private hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, on January 4, 2026, around 11:40 PM.
