WhatsApp users experience an outage for past one hour. This is WhatsApp’s first major outage after the October 5 Meta outage that took WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook out of service together.

WhatsApp is an instant communication app that allows users to text messages, videos, and photos and also allows users to share money is reportedly went out of service. Due to this users can’t send or receive messages.

While the outage of the most used communication app owned by Meta is affecting both personal as well as business chats. At the moment, it is impossible to send a message on WhatsApp groups but also personal chats are affected on a large scale.

Outage detection site DownDetector confirmed the news that WhatsApp isn’t working for thousands of users. Cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, and everywhere else the users are affected.

On the other hand, WhatsApp Web is also not working. Anyone who tries to connect with WhatsApp Web results with a message like, “Connecting To WhatsApp.”

WhatsApp’s company Meta is currently working on fixing the issue. At the same time, Meta spokesperson said, “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we’re working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible.”

However, the main reason for the outage has not been revealed.
