Yukti Kapoor talks about the new challenges that she had in playing the character of Agni in &TV’s Agnifera.

Playing Agni comes easier to me: Yukti Kapoor

Talented actress Yukti Kapoor is happy to have taken her journey in &TV’s Agnifera forward with the second innings of the show.

Says Yukti, “I am happy that we have carried forward the cat fight that was seen between the two girls. Now Agni and Sakshi have taken it forward by marrying the same guy. The story ahead will see the serious situation of the two girls indulging in a test of keeping up to the ‘Saath Vachan’. The best part is that we have dealt with this serious situation in a funny way.”

Yukti is thankful to Producer Ravi Raj for finding her apt to play one of the leads in the show. “I am blessed to be part of Agnifera. Ravi Sir saw me in Siya Ke Ram and I got the role because of this. He had the stern belief that I can play this role. Viewers loved me as Ragini and now as Agni. I have learned a lot during this journey of mine. I am now fully prepared for everything for my next show. Overall, I am happy to be here.”

Talking about the challenges she faced in the role of Agni, she avers, “Agni is not tomboyish as Ragini. Now, I have to play myself. And I am not tomboyish. So in a way I can say that playing Agni is easier for me. Having said this, I was so used to speaking in the Bihari accent that it had become a habit. Now I need to speak proper Hindi and this has been a real challenge for me. However, with time, I have adapted to the new changes.”

Yukti has managed to have a great tuning with co-actor Karan Goddwani. “He is a very good actor and a nice human being. It is good working with him. We clicked quickly and have a good understanding.  We are now very natural when it comes to our reactions as I know how to react to his reactions and vice versa.”

Way to go, Yukti!!
