One of the longest-running programs on Indian television, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has left a lasting impression on its viewers. Disha Vakani’s portrayal of Dayaben, one of the fans’ favorite characters, was flawless. Buffs have been eagerly awaiting the return of Disha since she took indefinite maternity leave in 2017, but since then, the show has been without her. There is a great deal of interest in the character’s comeback, and producer Asit Modi recently revealed that Dayaben will shortly be introduced.

Clarifying the situation, the 35-year-old said that while she did audition for the position, she regrettably isn’t playing it. The Yeh Hai Chahatein actor stated, “I had tested for the job but I don’t think I am doing it.”
Regarding Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Rakhi Vijan was previously said to be portraying Dayaben. There have been several changes in the sitcom during the past 14 years. The show had to replace a number of characters once they left. Raj Anadkat, who is also said to be leaving the program, took over for Bhavya Gandhi in the role of Tapu. Midway through the performance, Neha Mehta, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, Shailesh Lodha, and numerous others fled. Sonu’s role has changed three times.
Returning to Aishwarya Sakhuja, she recently revealed that she suffers from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
