Akshun Mahajan, who has steadily earned appreciation for his performances on screen, is all set to begin 2026 on a high note with a special music video. The actor, last seen in Rajshri Productions’ Mannpasand Ki Shaadi on Colors TV, has been keeping busy with shoots, and fans have been eager to know what he is working on next. Now, Akshun has shared exciting details about the upcoming music video, calling it one of his most personal projects so far.
Talking about the song, Akshun says it instantly struck a chord with him. “This project is very special to me because it’s a song I feel very in sync with, especially on a lyrical level,” he shares. Rather than fitting into a single genre, the track blends multiple moods and emotions. “It’s about a guy who sets out on a journey with his friend to discover life. It’s about letting go, observing things, and finding yourself along the way.”
Describing the song’s vibe, Akshun calls it a travel track meant for moments of self-reflection. “It’s the kind of song you listen to while driving, riding, or when you just want to be with yourself and unwind,” he explains. “The lyrics are beautifully written, and the music is light, calming, and comforting. I feel it will connect with people who are still figuring out who they are, what they are seeking and where they want to go in life.”
The music video has been shot in a fun and relaxed manner, focusing on the bond between two friends. “We’ve filmed it in a very light and slightly comical way, showing two friends heading out together,” Akshun adds. The project holds added meaning for him as it was shot in Punjab. “Punjab is my homeland, so that makes this song all the more special & imperative for me.”
While the singer’s name is yet to be officially revealed, Akshun confirms that the video is currently in the editing stage. “Once the edits are done, the song should be out by the end of January,” he says. Calling it a perfect way to begin the new year, Akshun adds, “I am really excited about this release, as the singer’s voice is very soulful and I hope audiences connect with it just like I did.”
