Yajuvendra Singh who is known for his portrayal in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas… Veera has recently been seen in TV shows Karn Sangini, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se, Ek Deewaana Tha.
Yajuvendra plays a very interesting role in Zee TV’s new show Apna Time Bhi Aayega produced by Shoonya Square.
Yajuvendra essays the role of Maharaja Sanjay Singh Rajawat who is Rajeshwari’s (Tannaz Irani) husband.
Says Yajuvendra, “Apna Time Bhi Aayega is a very beautiful show with an engaging story. You can correlate our characters to the epic Mahabharat. In fact, it will not be wrong if we say that the show is based on one of the chapters of Mahabharat. The ‘saarthi’ in the show who is on the roll and has an upper hand is Rajeshwari, essayed by Tannaz Irani. Rani is the person who comes in the way of Rajeshwari’s powerful journey and puts her points across in the most appealing yet innocent way. This is where the storyline is similar to Mahabharat.”
“We have a wonderful cast, with all in the show playing their parts well. Tannaz and Anushka Sen have very powerful roles and are doing a good job. For me, this role is a very different one. I have never played such a character before,” adds Yajuvendra.
“The story narration and the strong writing are coming up well and I believe this is a show that has to do really well,” states the senior actor.
