From television appearances to exploring different opportunities across films and digital entertainment, Araddhana R Sharma has been steadily carving her own space in the industry. Having been associated with projects like Rajni 2.0, Suhagan Chudail, Lakhan Leela Bhargava and Madgaon Express, the actress believes that every experience contributes to an artist’s growth. As Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his birthday on November 2, Araddhana shares why the superstar’s journey, personality and approach towards people resonate with her on a personal level.

Interestingly, Araddhana finds a special connection between their early television journeys. While Shah Rukh Khan’s breakthrough came with the iconic Doordarshan series Fauji, Araddhana’s own breakthrough is associated with Rajni, a show that also has an interesting connection with the superstar through his guest appearance. She believes this connection makes her admiration for him even more personal.

Talking about what his journey means to her, Araddhana says, “I think Shah Rukh Khan’s journey is one of the most inspiring examples of what determination, self-belief and courage can achieve. He came to Mumbai with dreams in his eyes, without an established film-industry background. What makes his journey special is that he didn’t wait for opportunities; he created them. Your starting point does not define your destination. You have to create your own path and keep believing in yourself.”

Speaking about her favourite SRK film, she picks Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. “There is something incredibly timeless about that film. Shah Rukh Khan made Raj so lovable. His idea of romance wasn’t just about grand gestures; it was also about respecting the person you love and standing by your feelings. That’s the magic of his romance; he makes you believe in love,” she shares.

Araddhana also admires how the superstar has reinvented himself through different phases of his career. “He has experimented with different genres and challenged the image audiences associate with him. Reinvention is not about losing your identity; it is about discovering new dimensions of yourself,” she says.

However, what she connects with most is his warmth and ability to make people comfortable. “I really look up to him, not just as an actor but also because of his nature. The way he makes everyone around him feel comfortable is something I genuinely admire. I try to follow the same approach in my life. Whoever is around me, I want them to feel comfortable and safe in my presence. I think that’s a beautiful quality to have.”

For Araddhana, SRK’s biggest lesson to younger generations is simple: dream fearlessly, remain humble and never stop evolving.
