Diwali, the festival of lights, holds a myriad of meanings and memories for people around the world. The festival not only symbolizes the victory of light over darkness but also serves as a reminder of the triumph of cherished memories and the drive to pursue greater aspirations in life. For Karuna Pandey, renowned for her portrayal of Pushpa in Sony SAB’s “Pushpa Impossible,” Diwali resonates deeply with cherished childhood memories, family traditions, and the enduring spirit of motivation.
In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Karuna unveiled her heartfelt connection with Diwali, a festival that has always held a special place in her heart. She shared, “Diwali has always been close to my heart, and my love for lights runs deep. As a child, this festival was synonymous with delicious treats. We would wait eagerly for the homemade sweets and fried food that my mom would prepare for Diwali. To this day, I can’t resist the mithais – they’re a sweet reminder of my cherished Diwali memories. Playing Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible reminds me of my childhood Diwali celebrations with my full family and gives me the motivation to achieve more in life.”
