The role was earlier played by actress Avneet Kaur but the diva left the show due to personal reasons. According to Time Of India reports, Ashi Singh revealed that she faced a lot of trolling and hatred from the audience when she replaced Avneet Kaur on the show. Ashi Singh tried her best to do justice to the role that was earlier played by Avneet but the audiences did not accept her. According to Times Of India reports, this impacted Ashi Singh’s mental health. The actress stated she won’t say she will never take up such roles but her choice would be to avoid a role that was earlier played by someone else. The actress mentioned “I got a lot of hatred from the audience and people judged me too because I stepped in after Avneet moved out. I want to keep myself away from negativity like this”, according to Times of India reports.
The trolling and negative comments from the audience impacted the actress and her mental health. The actress believes that as much as one’s physical health is important, mental health is equally important too.
According to the Times Of India reports, the actress said “When people hurled negativity at me, I tried to show that I didn’t care but deep down in my heart I know that it affected me. So I just want to live in peace and do good work without getting distracted.”
