Barun Sobti is an actor and started off his journey in acting in 2009 in the serial Shraddha on Star Plus. His first show as a lead actor was Baat Humari Pakki hai on SonyTV in 2010. He became famous when he played the role of Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. He has done and appeared in many daily soaps. He had also done several films. His first film was Main Aur Mr. Right in 2014. He has worked on OTT platform Hotstar Original web series Tanhaiyan in 2017 and many others.
Besides his professional life, he is a loving family man. He was born in a Punjabi family in Delhi to Raj Sobti and Veenu Sobti. He has an elder sister Richa Arora. Later, he married his long-time lover from his school days, Pashmeen Manchanda in December 2010. They became parents to a beautiful daughter named Sifat in June 2019.
A lesser-known fact about him is that he bought 3 cars at the same time. He bought 3 Honda City for his father, wife, and for himself! He is a very private person and wants to keep his life to himself unlike the trend of “socializing life”. He was ranked as the 3rd attractive Asian Man by UK magazine.
