Rashmi Singh popularly known for her role in Saath Nibhana Saathiya is happy and excited about her Sanjivani 2 journey.
Rashmi plays the role of Dr. Asha Kanwar in Star Plus’ medical saga Sanjivani 2, produced by Alchemy Films.
Says Rashmi, “The role of Asha is enjoyable. She is from a typical middle-class family in Haryana where the girls are not given the freedom to live their life. Asha wants to fulfill her dreams and not get married and sit at home. So becoming a successful doctor is a do-and-die situation for Asha. She has come in as the first year resident doctor at Sanjivani. She wants to give her best shot at achieving her dreams.”
Rashmi gels really well with all of the cast members. “I share a great bond with Surbhi Chandna, as I have shot for majority of my scenes with her. I remember my first day and first scene with her; we rehearsed once and worked out the scene in one take. Surbhi and I bond really well. I thoroughly enjoy with the whole cast of the show. Namit is a sweetheart and working with actors like Gurdeep Mam, Mohnish Sir is the icing on the cake. You tend to learn so much from these senior actors who are very positive in their mindset.”
Rashmi who has also been part of shows Jeannie aur Juju, Baal Veer, Raavi etc is happy to have bagged the role of a doctor. “The show in itself is different when compared to the ones we usually see on TV. Sanjivani 2 has so much in it, and every character will be loved with the track progression.”
