Young actor Jasjot Bhasin is happy to be playing one of the main cops in Dangal’s new show STT (Special Task Team). He has recently shot for the second lead’s role in the web series Bekaboo Season 3.
Jasjot plays the role of Garry Dhillon in the show STT. “He is very passionate about his work. He is not scared of anything. Garry Dhillon is a natural bodybuilder and a mixed martial arts champion. He is the one who makes the right decisions on the spot,” he says.
Jasjot had to work hard on mentally preparing himself for the role. “I had to prepare a lot mentally and physically for this role. I started working on myself more as Garry Dhillon is muscular and very sharp like a knife.”
Jasjot is thrilled to do the kind of action sequences that he is shooting for the show. “Since my childhood, I’ve been a big fan of the CID show, I used to watch it with my mother Amrit Kaur Bhasin. When I got an offer to work on a similar show, I told her about it. She was very excited and wanted me to sign this show in the first place because she was always curious and excited about police characters. She used to say that she wanted to see me in the police character,” he adds.
“And when I wore the police uniform, no one can imagine what I was feeling and going through. I was feeling so proud and energetic. There was a positive streak in me which told me that I would do well in the role of Grry Dhillon.”
