Music has played an integral part in human life since time immemorial. From the lost tunes of ancient civilizations to modern jazz, pop or even romantic ballads, there is always a song for every season and reason.
Today, on June 21, as we celebrate World Music Day, it has to be about music everywhere. And so, while Bollywood has all sorts of songs and we sure never tire of them, we also have many popular rappers who have given their voices to Bollywood films. Right from party songs to the ones that are upbeat, rappers have done a fair job.
Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known by his stage name Badshah, who sang songs like Tareefan, Mercy spoke about Music Day. He says, “Everyday should be music day as it is for me! I believe music makes life simpler, I always try to make music that people can dance to and it lightens up their mood. I hope I continue doing so. This year additionally I will collaborate more to make new sounds…I am sure music lovers will enjoy it”
