Nirisha Basnett who is presently in Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama talks of her track and experience.

Comedy is an art and I am learning its nuances with Tenali Rama: Nirisha Basnett

Actor Nirisha Basnett who is basically from Nepal will play an interesting role in Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama.

As per the ongoing promo, the Chinese Maharaja has come to Vijayanagar for a secret mission along with his people.

Nirisha will play the right hand girl of the Chinese Maharaja and she will be named Mouu.

The track for her will be very hilarious as she will be the mediator for the Maharaja as he would not be able to speak Hindi.

She will be the only one in their camp speaking Hindi and this will make the track interesting for her.

Says Nirisha, “I am having an amazing time shooting for this track. I am a Nepali and I am settled in Mumbai for the last three years. I was earlier part of Chandra Nandini wherein I played the role of Rajkumari Elis. It is so much fun shooting with actors like Pankaj Berry, Tarun Khanna and Krishna Bhardwaj.”

“Comedy is an art and I am learning its nuances as I shoot for Tenali Rama. Also, the track that is a mix of Chinese and Hindi languages has made it all the more interesting. I look forward to playing more challenging roles in my career.”
