Gauri seems disappointed and baffled that Chanda seems to possess none of the street-smart and go-getter qualities she would have hoped her daughter to inherit from her.

Talking about her new show, she said, “I am coming back on Zee after 12 years. Also, the first award that I won was for the Zee TV show Dulhan. People still remember me by my character of Sindoora from the show Dulhan. It feels good that fans have loved me. Coming back to Zee TV is like a homecoming to me. I am very excited to play Gauri, as an actor I feel some characters are just meant for you, and this one is giving me the same feeling.”

She further adds, “As actors always hope to do different roles. Also, he wishes to get that opportunity via which we can explore characters. Gauri is one such role that I have not played in my career. My look in the show is very different from what I have played before on-screen, and I can’t wait for the audience to watch the show. I am excited as well as nervous. I hope that I can do justice to this role and not disappoint my fans.”

When asked about her experience working with kids on set, she shared, “It is difficult as well as fun. I have shot with one girl, who plays my daughter in the show. She is very fast and smart. She gives amazing expressions. We have been very lucky that we have got good kid artists. However, we have to be ready according to the kids’ schedules. For example, on day one when we started shooting, a kid was crying. We had to wait for him to be happy and shoot with us. These are all difficult yet fun moments.”
