Himanshu Gandhi the young actor is gearing up for his next big stint on TV with the Zee Punjabi show Dheeyan Meeriyan produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. Himanshu was earlier part of the Zee Punjabi show Tere Dil Vich, and also was part of the Shemaroo show Jurm aur Jazbaat.
Says Himanshu, “I am excited about this second show of mine in Zee Punjabi. Dheeyan Meeriyan has a beautiful story, and will connect with people. It is the story of three sisters, who run a dhaba along with their mother. I play the parallel lead, and am the love interest of the eldest girl.”
On his role, Himanshu states, “My character is Samarjeet, who is a college lecturer. He is a very positive and helpful guy, who in fact, helps the girls from the problems they face in the functioning of the dhaba. Samarjeet is very loving and he can do anything for his love.”
Himanshu is interested in getting into the Hindi serials too. “I have worked earlier with Zee Studios and now, I am working with Shashi Sumeet Productions, who have mainly Hindi show domains. I am eager to get into the Hindi TV too. I am on the lookout for positive lead roles. I am sincere to my craft and will want more of challenges to showcase my potential.”
