Dipika Kakar is an Indian actress who has appeared in various daily soaps, one of which is Sasural Simar Ka, where she played the lead role. Prior to her acting work, she was an Air Hostess. In 2010, Dipika made her debut in the role of Lakshmi in the serial Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. She also appeared as Rekha in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. Sasural Simar Ka was a serial where Dipika played the character of Simar Bhardwaj from 2011 to 2017. This is the show, where she met her husband Shoaib Ibrahim. The two have appeared in several reality shows like Nach Baliye 8 and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8. Dipika and Shoaib were in a relationship for a few years before getting married in 2018. Dipika converted herself into Islam, as her husband follows the religion and changed her name to Faiza.

Although they are married for 4 years, it seems as if they fall for each other every day.
