Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin lead actor Neil Bhatt will look to have a simple and prosperous Diwali this year!! Neil plays the role of Virat Chavan in the successful Star Plus show.
Says Neil, “The plans this year for Diwali is to have some good food and sweets. Basically, Diwali is all about good family time.”
Recollecting his favourite Diwali memories, Neil explains, “My favourite memory related to Diwali would be the ones I spent in Baroda with my cousins. We used to burst crackers and have a good time. I remember that the very next day, in the morning we would collect the burst crackers and make imaginary stories with those crackers. It used to be a lot of fun.”
On the festive ambience of Diwali, Neil says, “Usually it’s simple and sober. There’s a lot of lights being put up in our house and the atmosphere is very vibrant. Diwali for me has always meant happiness and meeting with friends and family, having a good time with them. I look forward to it every year.”
His message to his lovely fans will be, “First of all I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Diwali and I’d like to spread the message of celebrating this festival in the most eco-friendly way possible.”
