Pankit Thakker, who has been showing his versatility as a performer in Zee TV‘s Saru, certainly believes in detecting one’s inner strength to lead a successful life. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated to symbolise new beginnings and the triumph of light over darkness. This festival encourages individuals to reflect on their inner selves, fostering a spirit of positivity and renewal. It serves as a reminder of the potential for happiness and success, illuminating the path toward a brighter future.

Talking about instances of the good prevailing over evil, Pankit tells us, “As I reflect on the triumph of good over evil, I am reminded of the times when we have had to make difficult choices to protect ourselves from our own loved ones. Sometimes, it’s like amputating a limb to save the body – painful, but necessary. I have learned that true strength lies in recognising when to let go and embracing the uncertainty of a new beginning.”

“Growing up, I faced challenges that shaped me into the person I am today. Losing my mother at a young age taught me the importance of resilience and hope. My father’s guidance and values helped me navigate the darkest times. After his passing in 2021, I took on new responsibilities and became more grounded in our cultural traditions. It’s been a journey of self-discovery and growth,” he adds.

His thought for Diwali will be, “As an actor, I have had the privilege of portraying characters who embody courage and conviction. This Diwali, I celebrate the victory of light over darkness, wisdom over ignorance, and goodness over evil. May we all find the strength to overcome our personal demons and emerge stronger, wiser, and more compassionate.”

On the Diwali plans for his family, he says, “In my family, we cherish our traditions and cultural heritage. My parents’ legacy lives on through the stories and values they instilled in me. This Diwali, I will be celebrating with my loved ones, sharing traditional sweets, and honouring the memories of those who have shaped my life.”

Wishing everyone a joyous and enlightening Diwali, filled with hope, love, and the triumph of good over evil.
