Actor Raghav Thakur, who gained recognition for playing the lead role of Krishna Shukla in the TV show Suhaagan, is excited for Diwali and has great plans to celebrate the festival with his family. Raghav debuted on TV as Paras Goenka in Nima Denzongpa. Diwali brings happiness through its symbolic and sensory traditions that foster togetherness, generosity, and renewal. The festival unites families and communities, turning shared meals, gift-giving, and acts of kindness into sources of deep joy.

Talking about witnessing good overcome evil in real life, Raghav Thakur says, “I have seen people helping each other selflessly, with communities coming together to support those in need. Small acts of kindness really make a big difference.”

Ask him about one negative thought that he wants to eradicate from himself, and Raghav says, “One negative thought I would like to conquer is self-doubt. I want to replace it with confidence and gratitude, reminding myself that progress matters more than perfection.”

Commemorating the essence of Diwali, he says, “To honour the spirit of Diwali, I believe we should continue spreading light through our actions — being kind, forgiving, and helping others even after the celebrations are over.”

On his plans for Diwali, the actor states, “This Diwali, I plan to spend time with family in Delhi, decorate the house with diyas, and share sweets with friends and neighbours.”

He likes to enjoy home-cooked delicacies, which will be, “We usually make laddoos, gujiya, and kaju katli, which I like.”
