One of the most successful and long-running shows on Indian television Balika Vadhu returned to its audiences 12 years after it first aired. The show launched Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee’s career.
Avika Gor, who played the titular child bride and became everyone’s favourite Anandi, is elated about the show’s re-run.
Taking about the same, she mentions, “This is an unbelievable moment for me. I am emotional as I watch my very first show as an actor. As our viewers are now confined within their homes, I am extremely excited that we get to reconnect with them with our show Balika Vadhu. It made history then, and I am sure even now viewers will be entertained by us.”
The actress went on to star in Sasural Simar Ka after the show.
