Ishita Ganguly, the young and talented beauty, who enthralled audiences in shows like Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha, Shastri Sisters, Peshwa Bajirao, Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki, RadhaKrishn, recently made a grand entry in Star Bharat show Gud Se Meetha Ishq.
In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Ishita spoke about her character and said, “I am quite excited about my entry. I am playing the role of Chandni in the project. Gud Se Meetha is an amazing show with a unique concept. In particular, my role Chandni is a strong independent woman who has various shades. As an actor, I can explore more via this character. Chandini is going to be a very interesting character who is here to create havoc in Dev and Pari’s life. Her entry is going to add more drama to the show.”
When asked if entering a show mid-way is risky? Ishita added, “It is definitely risky but I like taking such risks. I don’t think too much; I just give my hundred percent to any role that I pick. It is up to the audience how they accept the role. I know that for whatever time I am a part of this show, I am going to give my best. In the past, my fans have always loved and supported me. I would want audiences to continue to shower that love on me in my new show.”
Finally, talking about working with co-stars, she mentioned, “All the co-stars are amazing. For the first time, I am sharing screen space with Pankhuri Awasthy, Ishaan Dhawan, Meera Deosthale, and Arhaan Behll. They are all lovely people and welcomed me warmly on sets. So far, it has been a wonderful experience working with them.”
