Senior actor Shrikant Verma is said to make his debut on television with Colors TV‘s newest presentation, Bareilly Ke Bacchan, produced by Aarooshee Sood’s Aura Pictures. The versatile actor has featured in innumerable impactful roles in the OTT space and on the big screen. His notable works include Panchayat, Breathe: Into The Shadows, Mirzapur, Matsya Khand, Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, Fukrey Returns, Sharmaji Namkeen and many more.
We hear that he will play a powerful cameo role in the TV show, wherein he will portray a cop. As of now, the show, which launched last week, has introduced the main Bacchan family and the Yadav families. Krishna (Pravisht Mishra) has fallen in love with Sangam (Ramneek Kataria) and is trying his best to propose to her. He has taken the job as the driver who will be helping them.
A little birdie tells us, “Shrikant Verma will play a crucial cameo role in the show. He will bring the biggest twist in Krishna’s life.”
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Shrikant Verma, who said, “Yes, I am doing a cameo role in Bareilly Ke Bacchan. When I got this offer, I intended to explore this TV medium. It is my debut on TV. The work ambience on TV is very different, and the experience is new to me.”
