Nishani Borule, who captures hearts as the parallel lead Naina in Zee TV‘s popular show Dilo Ki Ram Leela (produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment), brings immense charm and dedication to the screen. As the festive season of Navratri arrives, Nishani shares her love for the vibrant celebrations, nostalgic music, and the simple joys of family traditions, even while managing a busy shooting schedule in Mumbai.

For Nishani, dance is pure self-expression, and Garba holds a special place in her heart as a celebration of rhythm and joy. “I love dancing. Garba is just another form of expressing myself through dance. I might not know every step perfectly, but once the music starts, I get into the rhythm and enjoy the moment.”

When it comes to festive styling, Nishani believes in striking the perfect balance between traditional aesthetics and ease of movement so she can dance the night away without a worry. “I love dressing up for Navratri. The colours, jewellery, and traditional outfits play a big part in the festival vibe. But comfort is equally important, as you need to dance freely. So I would say a beautiful traditional outfit lets me enjoy the night without holding back.”

No Navratri celebration is complete without the timeless melodies that instantly transport you to the heart of the festive spirit. For Nishani, legendary tracks are an absolute must. “Falguni Pathak’s songs are purely nostalgic for me. There is something about her music that instantly gives me real Navratri vibes. Even if I am not able to attend a Garba night, listening to her songs recreates that festive magic.”

With a hectic shooting schedule in Mumbai keeping her away from her family in Pune, Nishani misses her mother’s special culinary treats during the fasting days. “I don’t fast during Navratri because of my hectic schedule. Navratri always reminds me of the delicious fasting snacks made by Mom—she observes fasts and makes really yummy dishes. Since my family is in Pune and I am in Mumbai for work, I truly miss being with them.”

Imagine pairing the energy of Garba with Bollywood romance! If Nishani could share the dance floor with anyone, she knows exactly who her dream partner would be. “I would love to have SRK as my dancing partner! Imagine the energy, charm, and iconic romantic moves on a Garba night—it would be the most unforgettable evening of my life. I really hope this manifestation happens in real life!”

Reflecting on the spirit of the festival this year, Nishani wraps up her celebration goals with positivity and warmth. “Good energy, beautiful traditions, gorgeous outfits, dancing my heart out, and celebrating every moment with gratitude and a big heart.”
