Karan Sharma, who is currently charming fans as Vivaan Oswal in Colors popular show Sasural Simar Ka 2, is excited about the upcoming twist in the show. He says, “We along with the viewers are looking forward to the upcoming track wherein Reema and Aarav are getting married. However, the story is about Simar’s sasural, so this high point has hooked audiences. Will Aarav and Reema get married or there would be a new twist. I am sure fans will have an amazing time watching the upcoming story.”
Talking about his overall journey in the daily, he mentions, “It has been a great experience working on the show so far. When I was offered the character, I really loved the nature of Vivaan. He loves his brother and can go to any extent for him and his family. This amazing personality of my role astounded me. Along with this, this is the first time I was working with Rashmi Sharma. I was excited to collaborate with them. I am blessed that audiences are also loving my new avatar.”
So any pressure to live up to the expectations of season 1’s popularity? Karan adds, “We don’t have any kind of pressure because the storyline is different. Also, the characters are new in this season. We all have expectations that our show should be a hit. That expectation is there. Having said that, we are focusing on our work and trying to give our best to entertain fans. Rest we live to the audiences.”
On an end note, Karan feels blessed to be working with the amazing team on set. He shares, “ I have been fortunate enough to work with the cast. Be it Jayati ji or Avinash or Tanya and Radhika, we all have bonded really well. We are shooting in Agra so we are staying together. We came to the city before lockdown happened. Initially, we shot outdoor and later moved to indoor shoot. The outdoor shoot was fun as we shot at some great historical places. Now, we are in hotel premises and shooting with all safety precautions.”
