Jia Shankar, the impactful performer of &TV’s Meri Hanikarak Biwi, is on a high. Her acting prowess is being appreciated by one and all.
She tells IWMBuzz.com: “Recently, my show completed 100 episodes. It feels great when audience likes your work. Our plot is moving at its own pace and not dragging unnecessarily. Each episode is interesting, thus it’s entertaining for our viewers too.”
Meri Hanikarak Biwi has some senior veteran actors in the cast as well (Nassir Khan, Anjali Mukhi, Sucheta Khanna): “It’s always great to work with seasoned performers as you get to learn a lot.”
Though she is quite expressive as an actor, Jia feels, “I am best at emotional scenes. I don’t even use glycerin. My show director guides me well to get the best out of me.”
When not shooting, versatile Jia likes sketching and playing guitar.
