Actor Gaurav Wadhwa, who is currently winning hearts with his performance as Vivaan in Star Plus’ Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera, is not only receiving appreciation for his on-screen chemistry but also for the camaraderie he shares with co-star Shabir Ahluwalia. Reflecting on his journey of working alongside two of television’s most celebrated actors, Arjun Bijlani and now Shabir Ahluwalia, Gaurav says the experience has been invaluable.

“I genuinely consider myself fortunate to have worked with actors like Arjun Bijlani in Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya ShivShakti and now Shabir Ahluwalia in Tum Dena Saath Mera. Both are incredibly talented, but what stands out even more is how grounded and welcoming they are. As someone who is still growing as an actor, getting to observe performers with so much experience has been a learning experience in itself. I believe good on-screen chemistry begins with mutual respect off-screen. We spend time chatting between takes, discussing scenes, sharing laughs, and that comfort naturally reflects in our performances,” he shares.

Sharing screen space with seasoned performers has only strengthened his resolve to improve with every project. “When you’re surrounded by actors who have consistently delivered memorable performances over the years, it automatically inspires you to raise your own standards. Rather than feeling intimidated, I see it as an opportunity to learn. Every scene becomes a chance to improve, whether it’s understanding the emotional depth of a moment, timing, or simply observing how they approach their craft. That kind of environment pushes you to become a better actor every day,” he says.

The bond between Gaurav and Shabir has become a talking point among viewers, who have been enjoying their off-screen friendship as much as their on-screen moments. Speaking about it, Gaurav says, “I’m really happy that the audience has noticed our bond because it’s very genuine. Shabir sir has always made me feel comfortable on set. Despite his experience and popularity, he’s extremely approachable, warm, and full of positive energy. We joke around, discuss scenes, and sometimes even have random conversations that have nothing to do with work. I think when there’s mutual trust and respect, it naturally translates into a good friendship, and viewers can sense that.”

Recalling the atmosphere on set, he adds, “There are quite a few memorable moments because he’s someone who loves keeping the atmosphere light. Even during emotionally intense sequences, he’ll crack a joke or imitate someone just to make everyone laugh before the camera rolls. One thing I really admire is how effortlessly he balances professionalism with fun. Those little moments between takes help everyone relax, and I think that’s one of the reasons working with him has been such an enjoyable experience.”

Talking about what’s in store for viewers, Gaurav hints at an emotional rollercoaster for Vivaan and Aradhya. “Without revealing too much, I can say that the journey ahead is going to be quite emotional and unpredictable. The upcoming episodes will test Vivaan and Aradhya’s relationship in unexpected ways. They’ll face situations that challenge their trust, emotions, and decisions, but that’s what makes the story exciting. I think viewers are going to witness many heartfelt moments along with some surprising twists that will keep them invested.”
