Actress Pranitaa Pandit has exciting and elaborate plans set for Diwali this year. She will not be able to go to Delhi, but wants to celebrate the festival grandly in Mumbai.
Says Pranitaa, “I personally love spending Diwali in Delhi, but this year I am going to be in Mumbai. My plans are to attend all the Diwali parties, cook something really nice. I am planning a puja in my place and also a party. So, this Diwali is like literally jumping back into work, parties with all the festivities and shopping. I am going to be wearing a saree for the Diwali puja and for the party I have something which is indo-western which I have got.”
She adds, “Honestly, I do not believe in bursting crackers on Diwali. This year we will be planting trees. Some really nice gift hampers are there in the market which are giving amazing seeds. I will be lighting the Diyas and planting trees.”
Shopping is one of her favourite things to do on Diwali as well. “Diwali, for me, is, of course, a time to shop clothes. I have already shopped for my outfit and all the gifts that we are supposed to give in the Diwali. And also, we are buying a new car, so yes, that is there,” she says.
Talking about food on Diwali, she says, “I love to eat all the delicacies, Kajukatli being my favorite and Chum Chum this Diwali. I am going to binge on that for sure.”
