Actress Pooja Kava who plays the role of Ketki in the Zee TV show Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, enjoys the festival of Diwali and looks forward to all the grandeour during the festival. Pooja Kava’s character Ketki in the show, has seen brightness too, with her character getting pregnant in the show.
On the occasion of Diwali, Pooja shares with us her plans.
Says Pooja, “I love celebrating Diwali with my family and friends. I avoid going out on the day. This year too, I will bring about the day with my family and friends.”
Talking about the significance of Diwali, Poja tells us, “The significance of Diwali for me is the victory of good over evil! It is said that Ram and Sita returned to Ayodhya after rescuing Sita from Ravan. The lamps, diyas, and lights are lit up to celebrate their victory. I love the fact that all the roads, buildings, and houses are illuminated, creating such a beautiful and optimistic environment!”
On her favourite memories of the festival, Pooja shares, “All my Diwalis are memorable. My friends call at 6:30 am, and then we go to the temple to seek blessings from God, and return home. We enjoy delicious food with our family. In the evening, we all dress beautifully and go out to burst crackers, ensuring that we don’t harm any animals or birds. We make rangolis outside the house, light up lights and diyas in the windows, and decorate the house. It’s just a lot of fun!”
